exam n interview r over, Holiday time

EXAM
The exams is finally over le on 28nov..suffered so much...hehe now can play le....I had to cram all my studies within a few weeks. No appetite somemore....Before that, I was preoccupied with projects...no time go out or do tutorials...Think generally the exam timetable is ok except my last two General elective paper...back to back exam on 27 n 28nov.... Think my papers is harder this time round..alot high level thinking..

My Econ ges i just crapped...hated the drawing graphs part for international trade...development economies was better can crap...Yea finish my exams le, went crystal jade n eat with Gladys...Haha we deserve the treat esp after our exam ends 730pm then the stupid bus came loadfull for 3consecutive buses..we reach JP at 830..Wat one hr wait?I can go back tmp lo....We2 quickly find crystal jade n eat cos we both got interviews teh nxt day..must prepare, look for info...

BIG 4 INTERVIEWS

Then Ernst n young(EY) n PWC interview is the very nxt day after my exam...EY audit interview was a breeze...Think i'm better with female interviewers... Jenise was very nice throughout the interview..din ask hard qns..but we had a really gd chat..I do have my doubts when interviewers are very nice to you but u still dun get the jobs...(like for my citibank pa interview, haiz...) But wat she said at teh end was assuring: (Hope I did a gd job in promoting EY to you), I replied with a definite YES..Mayb I set my mind to join that le...hhaa

Next stop: PWC Corporate Tax.... The interviewer gave a special interview lo...Once we reach his office..The partner said" Today, u will ask me questions during the interview"I was stunned and took a moment to regain my composure...The interview was really awkward went out of qns to ask him...so I thought not much hope...

After my interviews on wed, went suntec to collect my skates finally....bought it early oct lo...but when i went back collect no stock...so drag till now then collect..Yipee...can learn to skate le..

Hehe got EY job offer le, but still nd to consider...audit is very long hrs n tedious...must think again carefully....

KP risk advisory interview was very long....reached there 930....but ended up waiting....then when did assessment then i realised mine was 40min case study unlike audit interviewees who did 10min test.... then went i went into the rm, 2interviewers askign scenarios qns...imagine u r US president n 911 happen on new york, wat u will do to solve the crisis...hai tough qn?kept asking me my plans..ended ard 1145....long rite?

Final stop: deloitte audit..the interviewer was very nice...we chat like old frens...mayb cos i like to talk alot....then our frequency very much alike....yea end le...now i can slack le..but nd think abt ey offer....hai..

Great studying with riyang...."lao da" from my case competition....learnt alot from him through discussion..Wa so much concepts to remb..find studying with him constructive...Think not bad to study tog...haiz beth got to go to sch..if not can join us...hehe studied until 4th chapter today

Great breakfast buffet with Beth...delifrance oni $7.30..very worth it for a buffet..drank plenty of orange juice n pastry...the atmosphere was damm conducive for studying tho they replayed the music over n over again....hehe...study one chap there...

But think tml onwards until tue..I prob stay at home to study..cos got used to studying at home le..hehe cna nap if I'm tired then can cut down on travelling time to place to study oso..

haiz my AB311 case be out on mon...wonder wat case the sch will give...erm this core will post the case reading for students to read n analyse b4 the actual exam..haiz we nd to predict wat qns be out...lots of research to do on mon...

Hehe think this will be my last entry...cos exam time ma...

after exam then i continue....Argh...hate exams...lots of mugging...pls let me remb wat i haf studied....jiayou jiayou.....

Exam Time

This week finally ended....
Mon was my AB311 presentation..Sighz think I was abit gan chong...din realised it until Gladys n Zj told me..Think prob cos I was the lst presentor..then We were the 5th gp to present...so I realised that our gp din use specific eg like the other gps..So I added some facts that I could remb..THen I tho I was toking too much so sped up...so ended speaking too fast...
Lucky this ppt not graded individually..Nxt sem must jiayou le.

Ok la..I got over it soon..then went Bowen's house to edit my He210 report..Haiz the report was in a mess...THx to Rumin and bOwen's help, it was in a better shape...Looked more like a decent report..Then Bowen was very patient..pei me edit report fr 5plus too 8plus...Quite paiseh took up so much of his time...At Bowen's house, AA msged me ask if I was studying? ..That's when I realised like not much time left b4 exam...I started to speed up the process of editing..correct minor errors b4 letting BW correct the big errors..Erm my grammar CMI... Then after the report was edited, Bowen showed me Goggle earth which was so interesting on his computer...Just need the vertex then can locate where the cities are on earth thr satellite...Very fun.....hehe saw Effiel tower...Liberty statue...Singapore's suntec city and esplanade.... Then went home to find more source evidence support my point..and Yup my report is done..

Tue is my final lesn day....Phew hand up my report le...Aftern is time to study le.. Had a fun lunch with mich, my jc frens (rumin, yiling n zong liang)...hehe had fun toking to them during fun....Wa zong liang...really lame...so long nvr c him....then rumin even say he was normal b4 seeing me...Haiz I'm normal lei...But was fun laming like the gd old JC days...After lunch, we went SAC to study... mIchelle went south spine..got lesn later... Hehe managed to focus awhile...then Grace came while Zongliang left...Haiz 3gals who like toking put tog will surely tok de...lucky yiling not tt talkative..if not even worse..hehe we decide to stop tokign concentrate awhile..hee then i managed finished 1lecture...

Wed met beth n lihying to study at tmp mac....then realised my 2nd bro off so had breakfast with him b4 meetig the rest...Glad that I finished 1chp of the tb...at least some sense of achievement...

Tue Gym and Thur's unlucky day (Fave shoe broke) and Fri Fliming

Hey great feeling after a 3days wk...and after my kusu island trip...Feel so refreshed..

Hehe so glad that I can go for another gym session...always feel very refreshed and much more healthy after each session...Tho this wk jus managed 45min of gym cos got ab311 proj b4 that. Then really happy to have melvin as a fren..waited for me to fin gym tho he started 30min b4 me..think he was oredi tired when I reached... Then he waited for me outside gym for 10min to fin...he quite nice lei..

Haiz but always c melvin will be stressed cos he kept asking me wat i wan do after grad...But think it's time to seriously consider..haiz...still dunno wat job to do..Bank?Teacher?Auditign? see how ba..

Haiz....My fave shoe spolit halfway in Cant b...sad...lucky is only the front came off..the middle part still intact...I can still walk n appear normally..no nd hold shoe in hand walk then be so embarrassed.

Beth n I decide to meet go home tog..She oso ask if her bf n his fren wan take mrt tog.. She mentioned got nice offer at clementi so was thinking since nd new shoes might as well go there see...

went to a few shops but no suitable one..haiz think my foot too meaty le..very hard find shoes..The shocking thing came when beth bf and his fren came...His fren..think called zhe Wei...
offered to lend me his slippers..tho he was joking at lst..cos we haf different shoe size lei..Besides quite weird to lend ppl ur shoe when u dunno the person well..

The moment he took his slippers out and put on the floor was the time when everyone(Beth,her bf and me) all got shocked look...Thanksfully beth bf broke e awkward moment when he exclaims: "hey it fits lei!" when i tried zhe wei's slipper...Actually his slipper was too long....haha but covered by my jean so looks fitting from front.. Quite a nice guy. if it were me, dun think i will lend ppl my shoe..somemore not so familiar de fren..

Think i very lucky lei...thanksfully his fren got buy new shoes then chnaged out fr his slippers. If not i will haf hard time finding shoe.. Haha after beth n i reached tmp. she pei me go charles n keith buy shoes..quite comfy...got 10% discount too..hehe

Looking forward to today, realli enjoyed my ab311 gp tho oni 3of us..(Rest of gps got 5ppl) but we always have stunts.. Today we decided to flim a short video for mon's presentation. I act as reporter and newscaster...Quite cool..Though we NG quite a couple of times..but it was very fun.. imagine looking at the screen and still needs to have composure. hehe gd experience..After the exam, got time then post the video on my blog..

A more slack week(3days wk oni)...Kusu island trip

Yeah...Last week was defintely more relaxed..with 2 days free..no nd travel all the way to sch...Haiz...but my frens got projs, can;t go out..

Hehe lucky sun got a chance go out..leave singapore main island with my parents...to Kusu island (tortoise dao) pray.....hehe a break from study(must relax oso)... But the travelling abit long..
Need go marina bay then take bus to marina bay pier take ferry...e transportation abit ex..$14 per person(2-way trip).

Quite excited as been quite a while since i took ferry..On the way up the ferry...the wave was quite strong..

Oops I felt abit dizzy...things starts to shake abit..lucky i din eat too full..if not will vomit..
I started to get used to the shaky condition..I focus on the boats on the sea..Wow...a real pretty sight..The ships afar look so small....but u bet it is definitely a few times bigger than the ferry I'm taking...

2omin passed..we finally reached Kusu island...The outlook of it looks very much like a village..Heard the island is in the shape of tortoise but din get a chance to view it..not on helicopter ma..

Hehe heard there's 2temples here...one chinese..and one Datuk malay temple...

The Chinese temple is located very near to the entrance of the island..took ard 5min to reach there....Wow..A wishing well in front of the temple...Must hit 1 of the 3 bells then my wish would come true...tried a few attempts and was really happy when a "ding" sound was heard..I had hit the bell and hope that my wish would cum true..

Then i proceed on to the temple...It looks like the other temples I had been to..Only difference is It kept lots of terapins...Hehe I like terapins very much....they look just like my pet terapin at home...Dunno why I will feel peaceful and smile whenever I see them.... hehe the outer wall on one end was painted full of tortoise pictures....It even kept a "gold coined tortoise" sure bring alot of luck....hehe There's even a statue of a few tortoises... Everything is so wonderful except for the hazey smoke due to burning of incense.... I became a "cry baby" in no time...Haiz couldn't stand the smoke..started tearing....There were at least 30 ppl offering incense at the same time..

I quickly went to an open space to breathe after praying...I was back to normal in no time....
Hmm...As the air became clearer..By then most ppl would have prayed....Nxt boat would be here in at least 3omin...Hehe I saw Palsam Malam nearby...My favorite..Things were so cheap...6 for $10....bought a windmilll...2 small bags...1 small coin pouch for $6(hehe shared with my mum)

Then we went to the hawker ctr (erm actually got a few stalls located there....selling food..) dunno wat to call them...Erm by the way..Think Economics makes sense....They did not have much competition thus the px was steeply priced and food tasted awkful...Haiz they were oligopoly who paid no attention to cust satisfaction but just on speed delivery...Haiz...No choice..No other food to eat le.. My mum was more picky abt food, din eat after a few bites..My dad was HUNGRY..just see the speed he gobbled up the food...Hehe lucky we shared food and he ate a huge portion...I was not that hungry...

Nxt we climbed up the stairs to go Datuk temple...It was a LONG LONG LONG way up...My mum lagged behind as her legs hurted...I tried to assist her up and encouraged her.... I started to pant too...Wa need to exercise more le.. Haha think not so bad la...3 kids behind us was panting even more furiously even though they each carry a packet of water in their hand...

The temple was much smaller scale...Only My mum prayed .. my dad n I just queued up for a blessings session....They chanted hokkein..sounds like gd luck to study...work...Hehe Hope I will have those luck...HEY at the other side of the stairs at the foot there was a beautiful shore...Hmm seems like I'm at east coast...but the water was fresher....hehe not so much pollution....picked up stones and threw them into the sea...FANTASTIC...The feeling of throwing away ur problems to far far away was amazing..felt so relaxed...

We rested a while more before we went back to the ferry...hehe really enjoyed my trip at the island....Nxt we went to Outram to eat food...Yummy....They were stalls relocated from Chinatown....It was a 10min walk to Chinatown...Hey I saw Korean sailors there....Thought they were Chinese initially but their name tags gave them away..

Then there were acrobats performance at the streets....wa...they were very flexible..This young gal had at least 10 hula hoops on her waist...and she was just swaying with no effort at all..amazing... Then we got sian when 2male performers came up..They were doing mute show...abit sian...

We shopped awhile more b4 gg back to the mrt (hmm the stalls da tong xiao yi lei,nothing unique). Didn't buy much...By then we were all very tired think ard 6plus le and we went home..
Hehe felt that today was well spent....Wanted to go back Kusu island again..hehe
