Back in action

Simple updates on the time i "disappeared" from blogging

Just a year has passed and there have been some changes in my life..

1) Most of my frens w know tt I have changed jobs from Auditor to a Fund Accountant at a Bank. Hanging on to my second job now as the economy has been rather bad. (Horrays to Employers as they get to choose us and Boos to us for having to put heart and soul in finding a job) Hope it recovers soon.

2) I managed to experience snow. yes real snow in Korea. Have been saving up for a year before I put my plan into action.. The lowest temperature i experienced was a whopping low of -13degrees. No kidding.. I was at Yong pyoung ski resort on the mountain top.. It was freaky cold.. I could feel my nose and mouth chilled by the cold... and constantly checking if my ear was in place. The Most happy thing on this trip were to:

*1- drink rice wine (soju) during snow.. U can imagine the instantenous warmth from your throat to your stomach when u sipped the wine.. not disturbed by the horrible sound we have to make when we sipped down the wine.. to prevent the side effect of soju..

*2- eat icecream in the cold weather, something I always wanted to do as a child.. whenever I see TV showing Japanese/ Koreans licking icecream.. while it was snowing.. It was a childhood dream come true..

3) I also withnessed firecrackers, fireworks in the ulu village of malaysia. I must be as thrilled as my relatives who in years have not seen firecrackers... I must say Singapore has become so developed that the kampung life has indeed gone into history..

4) I have sat on Asia's steepest wooden coaster in korea. Yes it is true. You will never imagine me on rollercoaster.. for someone who has height phobia, it is really an accomplishment. It could not be done without my fren, Winnie's encouragement.

5) I have gone to korea's style spring.. haha if you get wat I mean, My fren and I overcome our shyness and went for the spring.. Which was v special. Imagine soaking urself in Green Tea spring.. 39degree spring.. herbal spring... We also went to the saunas-60degree for a minute... Wah hot..... but imagine urself in temp of 3degree outdoor...going through all that was comfortable..

6) I am planning to learn swimming this year, something I have never managed to master in my studying time..

Attached are some pic taken at Korea and Malaysia. :) Hee you can go facebook and see more pics.
